I update every morning, but this game I rarely get updates truthfully. How do I clear the cache?

I found an article that will be useful for you ---> How to Clear Cache on iOS devices
With regards to the "Updates" ---> Click on the App Store -- search for "Candy Friends Saga" -- do not click on "Open", but click on the name of the game -- If there is an available update, you will see "Update" tab over there -- If you see it, click on it to update the App. If not, this is how, you will the update for next time.
By the way, you should have version 1.40.4. Please make sure of that 🙂

I do have the latest version I checked and did an update 4 days ago. Well hopefully I’ll start getting lives real soon bc it’s sure annoying when ya go through 5 lives so quickly lol and again thank you! Have a fabulous day!

I have escalated the issue about not receiving lives and your ID number to our Friends Community In-charge. They will be investigating further about it. Once I have any update from them, I will get back to you.
Until then, please do make sure that you have enough storage space on your device memory (minimum 2 GB is required); App is up to date.... most of all, enjoy the game 🙂

I used to watch a video to get a booster to start my game and a video for extra moves after I finish. Now I don’t get it. Also I have watched friends send me lives and I have never got them

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game!
With regards to receiving Ads --> Ads to watch before starting the level to get a booster and to receive extra moves at the end of the level -- both these features are "limited timed features" and are still in testing. These features are sent to few groups of players once at a time for certain time period. Once that time is over, the feature(s) will be moved on to another group of players.
The Studio is still testing how the feature is working, whether are any glitches, etc., And there are some glitches, indeed. So, they have have to work on those glitches too.
With regards to receiving Lives ---> Are you playing on a Mobile device or Windows 10? Are you logged into the game through Facebook OR King account?

Understood you have 2 issues here and to add on to Ms PummyRaj's suggestions, you may want to read the link below regarding the issue not receiving lives from friends.
Before that, make sure that the game is updated to the latest version if you play on a mobile device. After you update the game, please restart device to ensure that the app is properly registered with the new updates. Log back into your game and check your mailbox.
