It gives you the "Time's Up!" notification when you have not completed a square and your teammates complete a row. So the two other people managed to finish a row before you finished ticking a single square on the board. You didn't lose anything. You just didn't complete a square, so you don't get a reward for that round.…

When I make a hit, I then check each adjoining square until I sink the ship. So mine looks more like a checkerboard pattern at the end. It probably only saves me 3-5 moves in…

When you open the game, is there any specific routine you like to follow? I check social hub to send everyone lives and boosters, and check what boosters are available for me to request. Have the admin (the person who created the team) go to the team tab and remove the inactive player. Then the active player should be able to join.

You don't get level pins when YOU pass levels. You get level pins when your SHIPMATES pass levels. So it's best to pick shipmates that play around the same time as you.
