  • I will try to answer this question. It will be different from what I calculated in previous posts because Round 1 unexpectedly only had 20players per leaderboard. Assuming like last year 18 million players started the competition: Half were knocked out in round 1: 9 million remained Half of those were knocked out in round…
  • No, @NatalieLind nothing is fair about Candy Crush. If you've played for so many years, surely you have come to learn that. Players in the top of the game have a very hard time competing against experienced players who started a new game at level 1. That is just one of many unfairnesses in the event. Then there are some…
  • I can play 45 levels per hour. Playing for three days and 10 hours per day that would be 30 x 45, so 1350 levels. I'm not the fastest or best player of Candy Crush, so I think it's possible. And of course, in a competition like this a player could go all out and play 12 or 14 hours each day. In the final round I am sure…
  • Hello @MzSita That is unheard of in my long experience of reading posts here in the community! It would be very interesting to hear more details about this. I was wondering if and how King were eliminating cheaters this year. Of course real cheaters would not post here to complain about it, and we have not heard from any…
  • I wonder if the new round design is one of King's psychological tricks. The "nearly there" illusion of all who progress to the next round is really hard to counter with rational argument. The further players get in the competition the more do they think "I've come this far" and "I'm almost there" and the more they are…
  • Thanks for the info.
  • Don't do it!!! Don't spend any money to catch up.
  • You were passed because there are players who can play more quickly than you. If you play one or two levels you would score about 3-5 thousand points and you state that took you 5 minutes. I play a level in about 1-2 minutes, so I am faster than you. Other players are even faster than me. I score 165,000 points in one…
  • Players are not allowed to share gold with other players and this is not possible to do anyway. Sorry.
  • You do not need a passport to travel form Wisconsin to California! Residents of the United States don't need a passport. You just need some other ID, such as a drivers license.
  • That is indeed one possibility. 125 players per final ten leaderboards. Scary.
  • I am afraid this won't happen at this stage. You will have to beat them and take the first place in your leaderboard to get to the next round. This player obviously is currently residing in a country that does have the event, for it would not show up in their game otherwise. They will have set their phone to their home…
  • I think all of the rounds have been far too long @ponce123 It's been ridiculous! I guess for King it means more profit as more time played means more money spent on the event. I think the worst part has been the fact that up to and including this round we are currently playing all the leaderboards have been unlimited in…
  • Fantastic @MannyFae ! I am so pleased you hit on the right strategy, when the rest of us failed. Watch out anyway, but I'm sure you'll be watching the opposition carefully. All the more reason to kick myself. I'm on a three hour train journey in the midst of a family holiday, and could have used that time to get myself…
  • I don't think anyone has received the form yet!? Or could anyone who has, post here to let us know?
  • I did calculate that if I played for 10 hours out of 24 each day of the round I could personally reach about 4 million points. I am not doing it because I don't have the time, but strictly speaking this is possible to achieve if you are mad enough to waste your life away crushing candy.
  • Hello again @Heidieliz I am so sorry you fell for King's cheap marketing practices. This is essentially what Candy Crush is all about and we had exactly the same problems last year, which is why I tried so hard to warn players here before the event started. I am sorry you weren't around then to read my post and that you…
  • The player cards contain no live information. They are a day or more old. Don't go by the player cards! Only the leaderboards get updated with every level. they are live. And no, there is no means to report a cheater however hopefully King do have an automated system in place to track potential cheaters and eliminate them.
  • Hi @AkBigWigg If you lose your internet connection or play offline then you don't get the 30x multiplier, which may explain why your score for those levels seemed so low. Make sure you are playing online, and that after every level you play you see the x30 pop up on the leaderboard. If it's not there, then close the game…
