But app most likely got corrupted and a way to solve it is uninstalling/reinstalling the app. With a king/facebook account, progress and gold bars will be saved and synced to the server but boosters and stored lives on mobile will be lost, unfortunately, as they cannot be transferred. I had this connection problem on cc soda app too and reinstalling was the only way to solve it efficiently.

Are you able to exit game by pressing the home button? If yes, please restart the device and log back in later, not immediately. If not, you may want to force restart your device.
If the issue is still the same after the above steps, then you may need to resort to re-installing the game as mentioned by Pitty_Kitty but bear in mind that you will lose all the boosters and stored lives.
