Power-ups accidentally causing level to be unplayable

On level 1673, I had a Color Bomb and Fish as my daily power-up, plus an extra Color Bomb for it being my first try on that level after completing Level 1672. The way they've been placed, though, made the level to be out of possible moves and even possible shuffles even before I could make my first move. Fortunately, that misfortune deprived me of Allen's bonuses and I made that level on my next try. But could something be done so that this sort of thing won't make me lose a life just like that again?

It happened to me before. but I quickly turned off the game, so I did not lose the booster.
Maybe, @NamTruong2001 have the same experience to share

I just saw the most recent yt video of level 1673 which was uploaded 6 months ago.
the player had 2 color bombs and 1 coloring candy at the start and didn't have any problems with the boosters positions. Sometimes bad luck happens or maybe the level got revised recently and some changes were made and caused a glitch but I can't check myself because I'm still behind 🤔

About losing Allen's balloon, I think you quit the game before playing or you didn't complete the task (that's my guess).

That's precisely my problem: the reason I couldn't complete the task was that color bombs were placed in the second and fourth row of the eighth column, surrounded on all sides by liquorices.

Hi @blanchardb welcome to the community, sorry you have had this happen but as you have experienced it is not the difficulty of the level as you passed next go. I had a similar situation on level 1900 today. The booster was put where I could have made a colour bomb. It is one of those things that we just have to put up with as the candies are placed at random. It’s like occasionally if you start with a colour bomb and a colouring Candy they will enter the board side by side and other times nowhere near each other. We just have to take the good with the bad. It would be no good if the game wasn’t random because that would mean it was fixed.
