🌈 Jelly Graphics Palette 1 - Lighter Tones 🌈

Hi Jellies,

Sometimes with colour, their may be some who have Accessability barriers like colour blindness, low vision or visual distress. Sometimes the colour palette can just be something we're not particularly fond of. Where are we at in the Jelly Saga so far? Let's take a look! 🤔😃

Green

In all 3 pics the colours are balanced and match well. Some of the level indicators go well too. The frogs and Monklings look pretty cool too 👌

Blue

In all 3 pics the colours are quiet balanced and the Characters go with the Themes. In Pic 1, there is shadow and light contrast with the Characters in the tent. In the Episode of Pics 2 & 3, the Jellyfish & Fish move around, making it come to life! 👍

Purple & Darker Pastels

Pic 1 has Darker Pastels and a fun theme. Pic 2 has the lighter purple and Pic 3 has the darker purple tones but still go easy on the eye! 💚

Browns & Pinks

Brown can really stand out with the lighter clouds. The purples and pinks go well in Pic 1. Pic 2 has a green sky that compliments the brown and in the Episode has moving, Maple Leaf Music Notes, which can break up the consistent appearance of the brown and the gold Saxophones. Pic 3 has more of a concentration of the lighter pink cloud and so the Brown Yummy icing on the Profiterole towers really stands out as a feature. It also has moving Air Balloons that break up the colour and provide a little fun.

Pinks

Pinks can really be bothersome at times but we'll get to that in Discussion 2. Right now they actually go quiet well as other colours actually make the pink clouds pop a little. The Ice cream and Toffee Trees look pretty delish! 😂

What lighter colours are not quiet on point?

The colours seem to be okay and in the Episode the Purple Whale is the stand out feature. The spout sprays out pretty pink bubbles and moving parts are always a hit! Despite this though, the theme may be not as mature as we'd like with the Rubber Ducks floating around and detract a bit from the overall concept. But hey, we all have times when we we're not spot on with things so all in all a few great Episodes seen here 🤗

Well all in all, I've tried to keep it light and give you guyz a chance to say more! Maybe even inspire some questions for our Interview with our Game Team Jelly before we pick the ones to ask in a few days time.

There'll be another discussion on the dreaded yellow as it can really not be easy on the eyes sometimes but for now........... All the above are great, but my favourites are the blues and purples. I really dislike the combo of brown and pink. They are not the lighter tones at all.

@Lady_Sarina you have done a lot of work with the explanations. Thank you very much for that.

I don't pay so much attention to the design and the colors. When I go into the game, I check my tasks and complete them. Or I play old levels for competitions. I hide the "all around".

Also, there's not much of the design on my mobile device. It disappears behind the many icons and buttons.

There are so many icons on the left that the pretty design of the episode disappears behind it. It is not to be seen properly. Maybe that's why I can't appreciate it so well.

I like the combination of two or more colors, the backgrounds of the episodes are colorful, in future events or news, other color combinations.
