Not getting an additional turn when I match 4 or more candies

I just played Cupcake Carl a couple of times in Level 353. Several times I matched 4 pieces, but did not get another turn. This hasn’t happened to me before. Why am I not allowed to keep going when I match 4 or more candies?

You can't get 1 move back when you create special candy. It only stuns boss.
