Why do we need a 100 gold coins or bars to keep our status. And even with 20 left it times outs with a -1 so confused?

To keep streak(s) when you lose a match, you must pay gold bars, maximum is 100 for 6 streaks. However, I suggest not using golds to buy streak for nothing. Just click "Lose progress" and we will start the current quest from scratch.
About "-1", it happens when you or an opponent wins the match in the first move of one turn. Example, you have 6 moves left. When you spread enough jelly amount target with 5 moves left, the move count auto-jumps to 4 and "-1" will appear next to that move count.
