Hello. I think this issue has still been happening to me for 1 week and nothing changes. When I want to ask for lives, some avatars are blank and "Send" button doesn't work.
I can accept lives, but sometimes can’t send them as well. 😒🤷🏻♀️
Hello there! Would you mind explaining in further detail? For example, can you explain how the send button doesn't work? Does it not let you click on it?

@little_kay i click "ask for lives" but after clicking "Send", it is still freezing at that screen. I can not ask for lives to anyone.

About the blank avatars: Don't worry too much about that; it seems to happen to many people and it isn't too much of an issue.
I recommend updating the app if you haven't yet.
This may be also caused by apps running in the background - free up apps before opening the Candy Crush Jelly application.
If none if these work, I'm super sorry 😣! You may want to see if there is an application that is clogging up your device, or if there is something that is causing your device to slow down.
You may also find it helpful to look over this post:
The community has numerous posts of how to fix your stuck screen as well; you can search some up and read some of the advice if you want more help.
Lastly, you can reach out to a Community Manager if it is too much of an issue.

Please exit game, disconnect your device from wifi/internet connection, wait for a while and connect back the wifi on your device, enter game and see if you can see the avatar pic appear again.
Before that please update the app if there's a latest version and try NOT to reinstall/uninstall the app as you may already know, the boosters and stored lives will be gone.
Try all the above settings and if it doesn't work, play on different device once your lives say in mobile has been fully utilised. If you are playing in FB using diff browser. You can play with diff. browser after you used up the lives on another browser.

If it's not worked, How about you update the latest version of this game and tried to follow these troubleshooting steps of Crashing/Freezing issue/bug. (I hope haven't this happens! 😊)

If you want to try uninstall and install steps, you have your gold bars are saved/transfered but all of the boosters have lost and some events will be reset and gone.
