Poor sportsmanship- giving people that leave a game a penalty of some kind

Leaving a game just because you are winning is very unsportsmanlike.

I think giving the people that leave a game a penalty of some kind. This would stop them from doing this. Nothing makes me more mad than when I am about to win a game and the other person leaves (just because they aren't going to win) and then I don't get my rewards for a perfect game. Loosing internet connection is different and I know with all the technology of today "King" can do this.

Maybe something like they shouldn't be able to play for xx amount of hours or something ๐Ÿค”.

But also along with the idea of them leaving the game (because they aren't going to win) the other player should be able to finish that game. Because that is unfair to the person playing every single game to the end (no matter what the out come) just to have these people with poor sportsmanship to screw them out of the perfect game reward points.

Agreed! Especially when youโ€™ve selected a striped candy Ball and only for the opponent to leave on his 6th turn and my win my prize that I worked to get didnโ€™t get used because this poor sport left before the game ended.

    infuriatingly so!

    Really beginning to dislike RC.

Would be hard to do because like for me for instance I never leave a game when losing but my game has frozen and disconnects

    Yes I agree @Spinnifix,

Definitely a discussion topic I would participate in! Especially since I've been guilty of this a couple of times! Lol

Not intending to be a bad sport tho! One time I actually spent money only to be given no moves to start with at the beginning of the game whilst the opponent was set up beautifully and 1st player! Same happened in the follow 4 games and by the 5th I was dissapointed and frustrated I disconnected and went to do some work in the garden!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Sorry if you were my opponent @jconn

When Im sooooo too invested!!! I'll work on that!! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The real problem is using the blockers on your opponent.

I have left a game because the opponent placed 2 or more blockers up. I had no moves left or any chance of winning so why should I waste my time on that match? I donโ€™t have the patience to just sit there without any moves, so I move on.

real change is offering a better option to players than the blockers.

    1. make the map bigger
    2. give more offensive weapons and make it easier to get
    3. raise the complete map number higher.

    G"Day @user1015

๐Ÿ˜ I think you might have that in common with some other player lol

I must say tho, for me, I don't mind being blocked. It's part of the game and challenges me to think harder and the game more interesting lol

Don't get me wrong, it can be frustrating and come at the wrong time, but it's all good lol

There are some reasons for this:

    • Internet connection problem
    • Waste of time, if player does not want wait for his/hers loss to be confirmed!
    • Blocked, no move options
    • Frustrated, if player feels that opponent gets luck in "unfair way"

I don't think that punishing a player who leaves the game is an option!

Just because the other player is frustrated or having bad luck doesnโ€™t mean the winning player should not be given the opportunity to complete the board and earn the extra points for the leaderboard. I would be happy if the game would just continue on like my opponent set their phone down and forgot the game. The player who leaves the game does get somewhat of a penalty because they donโ€™t earn any points for the leaderboard after leaving a game before it is finished.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
