Advertisements don't show and freeze game play

I have recently been having blank ad space pop up and I cannot continue with game play. It is just black screen. When I hit the back arrow it shows the game board but I cannot make any moves. I end up having to quit the game.

    Not sure which device you are playing on so here's a link for you to choose which device suits you

    Please update game, device software and browser . Clear game, browser cache/history as these are the basic maintenance steps...

    Let me know how you go with those steps first and always save your game before doing them.

    I can provide better help if I know which steps you've already tried, which device and platform you are playing on (Facebook, Windows 10, Game App) and any screenshots are helpful to please :0)

    Hu. You are not the only one.

    Some ads run in 30 seconds and the screen goes black. And when I click Back button. The game stops and I can't switch anything on the screen.

    The only way I do is to exit the level. That's very unfair when you're about to win.
