I have the new jelly fish (the ones that glow). After thinking about it for a while, I think the jelly fish and special candy combinations try to affect as many board spaces as possible, which means conveniently protecting the magic mixers here instead of damaging them.

I recently got the change that made ongoing events update on the map instead of in popups. It's really nice to see most things update there in one go instead of tapping through a bunch of popups after each level. Because of this change, level transitions are more pleasant now.

To me, it's occasionally worth it when the ads don't appear, particularly in a Candy Royale. On rarer occasions, I'll just cough up the 10 gold bars to pass the level faster if I'm in a hurry and need to finish the episode ASAP.
