For a lot of us, the unlimited lives has been replaced with a timed color bomb. If you do see the unlimited lives on the train, take a screenshot so you have proof and can report it.

Forgot to mention, although I am sure you already know, that all levels increase in difficulty when a leaderboard is going on.
