That level should open whitout errormessages.Take away the green marker. Then just close it on the X there. Then go to your level 1999. It should open now because the marker…

@Lynne_Stockdale If you look at the top on the game on your beans. How many beans do you have. See picture 1. If it´s less then 90 that can bee the problem. What you can do is take away the green marker on the companion before you start game. See picture 2.
