Re: I am seeing friends in my weekly contest again.... anyone else?
That would be classed as cheating so please don't quote me on this method in this context. More importantly: Even though theoretically this does work ask yourself this question @michimune : What is the point?
Why we play Candy Crush differs from person to person.
Some players like to reach the top of the map and then stay there. For these players not winning the weekly contest is a nuisance, but it hardly matters. Why would HM100 want to bother to start a new account and then merge it just to win that one silly event? To do so costs time @michimune . Time is money, so they say. You are recommending players to waste precious time in their lives they should be spending with their families, their jobs, doing important stuff, just in order to win a few boosters in this stupid, stupid game. That is NOT what my advice is all about. It's about helping hopelessly addicted players who are too weak to give up playing Candy Crush to get back onto their feet and start to enjoy playing the game again. Anyone not stuck without gold and boosters should leave the account merging well alone as it wastes time.
Remember that I myself chose to have my Poppy account deleted when I reached level 20,000. I could have carried on with my methods forever, but I asked myself what is the point, and decided there was no point playing these boring levels.
The only point I currently see in playing this boring game is to find out how the algorithms work so I can give informed advice to players in this community, and to give All Stars one more shot.
After that I expect that I will stop playing because this is all just wasting our time.
