Game started from beginning.

Hello. Please I reached level 200+ in the candy crush saga. But I tried updating my game and after the update, it started from beginning which is really frustrating. How do I reverse it back to where I stopped? Because to be frank with you, I just can't start from beginning again. Thanks.

    Were you playing while connected to Facebook? If so, logging back in should bring your levels back to where they were :) The same thing happened to me once and I did have a moment of panic but logging in put me back in my place on the map.

    I did that and nothing happened. The problem is that it was when I synched my contacts with my Facebook account after I updated it is when the problem started. Please I need a solution on how to go about it.
