Cannot connect to app store

Daily spinning wheel does not stop spinning and an error message comes up saying cannot connect to App Store. Same with sugar drop reward boosters. I collect the sugar drops then when I go to collect my reward it say "please connect to App Store. What's going on?

    Its because for these 2 things you need to be connected your game account/wi-fi to get the prizes, so make sure you're connected or you won't reap the rewards.
