I can't seem to request friends for lives and everytime I try to it closes the app completely

ever since I updated my app I don't seem to be able to request other candy crush friends for lives and everytime I do so it kicks me out of the app

If the app is crashing I often recommend restarting your mobile, making sure that you have enough free memory and ram that your phone isn't full. This is the first place to start.
