Ive only just tried this out. But really believe I have a fault on my one and wouldn't mind a technician to take a look. Its not labelled as a hard level, my friends seem to have past it straight away with ease, Ive gone through about 15 lives and I don't get past 10 moves as the that's how long the bombs have before they go off.

It's not possible to have a fault in your version as everyone gets the same release (the one thats in the app store or on Facebook, its just built in). If your friend has passed then it shows it can be passed!

I don't know what is going on. The bombs are not worth much more than the regular candies. I have removed all the bombs more than once and only got to 50,000.

Yes, there has been a scoring issue with bombs. I hope they put in another fix as the first one did not work on all levels.
