No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

I am beyond upset about the so called 'fix' that you made to the game. Why didn't you fix this feature at the time that CC was released? After all these years, we players have been so used to the feature, and now you just cancel it straight away, or may be you just make this change to increase purchases on the gold and boosters. What an efficient way to lose players.

Reminder: you will not get your boosters back when you quit a challenge even if no moves have been made.

So this was never intended, but it took OVER SEVEN YEARS to address?

I'm not sure why it's such a terrible thing to have a feature that your customers actually LIKE, but I already deleted this app. Literally the only reason I played this long was because I could reset the board if it took too long to pass a level. If the studio is collectively too stupid to understand simple marketing, their loss. Certainly not mine!

I suspect one of the main problems is that the people making these idiotic decisions are not people who actually play the game. We're just numbers on a board to them. They'll have to lose enough revenue for even them to notice before they figure out how badly they messed up. I bet the only thing the studio has heard was "oh, it's kind of unpopular" instead of the sheer outrage most of us have expressed. Either that or they're counting on our being too "addicted" to stop playing.

I think I have passed one or two levels in the past week. I refuse to spend anymore of my money on the game until changes are made. I used to come home after work and play for an hour or more. Now I might spend 10 minutes. It sucks that my stress relieving game is gone.

How is it that I have so many boosters but unable to use them in any level I want? Who is CC to ration MY boosters?!? I belong to a CC FB page with about 5000 members and so many people are deleting the game. So frustrating

I am disappointed that King has made Candy Crush more stressful by taking away the option of previewing a board before starting game. I am no expert but suddenly the game is no longer fun. I hope my two cents will be the one to make them realize that they are going to lose. I will not be purchasing any more lives of gold bars. I am debating whether I will even continue to play.

I think if King continues to make these changes--and if any of their base sticks around to continue commenting in the Community--they need to give us more options than insightful, sweet, or hehe. Insightful just doesn't seem to convey the complete empathy I have for folks who just want to play the game but feel saddened by King's cheap shenanigans.

Too hard to pass levels without the option to restart, have to use all my boosters that took me a long time to earn, is not enjoyable to play any more, I have been with the game from the start I’m at 5960, I don’t think I will make it to 6000. I’m beyond sad!!

Why change this. It wasnt broken. I've played candy crush saga & other king games for over 5 years & like everyone else said spent money on this plus other king games. This is my top fav but i wont be spending anymore money either . I was hoping yall update your other games to do the same thing as candy crush with the exit & lose no lives. I truly hope yall reconsider. My 1st year i spent well over $1000.
