Game keeps restarting, losing lives

Hi there,

I can no longer switch between apps on my phone without cc restarting when I go back to it. This has happened before but it was infrequent enough it felt like a bug. Now I've lost all my lives testing it. It is important for me to be able to come back to a screen because I frequently need to pause. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? Thanks!
