I want to delete this account because I have a different account and would rather keep that one. Where are the instructions to delete an account?

You can't do it yourself because only CM can do it.

Could you all please confirm that you want your accounts deleted and no longer access to the Community with the emails that currently are registered?
If you only want to disable all the notifications, then please edit your account settings as @Sukanta_Biswas advised.
