Of course you have to connect your game to facebook to have your friends back in the game. If you previously saved your game with facebook, your game status and your gold should be available again. Unfortunately, your boosters are not.
However, you can possibly use them on your old device
Yes, candy crush. My level is correct but my rank went back to 1. My friends are not linked any longer. The coins to purchase boosters didn’t transfer over that I had purchased prior to the phone transfer.
Most likely, your levels were not saved because your game did not sync to the server.
Please email Player Support so they can restore the levels manually on your account.
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Help Center - My Game Progress - Contact us and send them an email. Don't forget to mention what level you were on!
It's important that you choose "Problems with my game" as your topic and "Game didn't save" as your subtopic.

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game!!
If you are logged into the game either though Facebook OR Kingdom account, your Rank should not get affected even when you change your device!!
When you said "Friends" -- did you mean the Lives you have received from your friends?
And what do you mean by "Coins" -- Are they boosters that you are talking about?
Just wondering... are you talking about the Candy Crush game or any other game?

You probably won't find the Gold Crown at any level.
Right now, I'm asking you to check the steps below.
Check App Update > Log Out Game > Restart Device > Open Game & Log In.
Your problem will be solved.
