Why did the price for the largest milestone goodies go up from $29.99 to $49.99? None one is going to pay $50 for toys to use in a game.
what you might not know is many of us WERE incentivized to play to the next milestone. I’d see that star coming up & play on. My friends IRL feel the same.
I know this game’s revenue. I know it was built w/the same game psychology as slot machines. someone wrote a fairly scientific article explaining this. So, DO NOT answer that you needed the revenue. That is false.
so what’s your explanation?

Hi @Barbchris, Welcome to the community. You seem to be addressing King. This is a community of independent unbiased players and fans of candy crush games (although I'm starting to wonder whether a few are). King themselves will not explain their decisions to you in this community. The best thing to do is follow the adage, "When the fun stops STOP", which all slots operators (in the UK at least) are required by law to advertise.

I will NOT purchase again. CC should consider dropping the price to 19.99 for 1000 bars as a way to say thank you during this shut in. SHAME ON YOUR GREED.

The 500 Gold Bars package in Milestone Goodies were adjusted recently since it was incorrectly priced earlier.
It contains 500 Gold Bars and Boosters for a value for over 600 Gold Bars. Only the 10 UFO:s that the package has, have a Gold Bar value of 200 Gold Bars!
So the new price is remarkably higher than the old one, but still a good offer considering it features items of a value over 1 100 Gold Bars.
You still have many other packages and offers in the Candy Shop that offer Gold Bars and Boosters.
