Candy Crush knocked off its No.1 perch

So for the first time since Nov 2012 Candy Crush Saga has been knocked the number one spot for global monthly takings for a mobile game April 2020. Just goes to show how all the current changes have been so detrimental to the game. When we had all the sugar drops, BoB etc still Candy Crush Saga still remained the global number 1 . Old saying you give generously you will reap the rewards. Yet all these changes we see that we have no choice but to look at and say its being done for monetary gain seems like its back fired a little bit. lets hope money does talk and brings some sanity back to the game we all love.

It doesn't come as a surprise, just as it won't be a surprise for it to be defended as a result of offering unlimited lives. Those of us who don't have our heads buried in the sand know the real reason.

We know it will get hidden but hey have your say and thats it., but proof really is in the pudding. statics like that dont lie. you dont losse No.1 spot for no reason. Its been comming looks to money orientated now and people are not that fickle to not know whats wrong. Free game progressively aimed more towards payment. If it aint broke don't fix it, or you tend to right &'#3 it up

Maybe get them to undo what it was they did to make it number 2. Trouble is it is just as difficult for a business to admit to mistakes as it is for a person. Shame. Sigh!

@Freddy_Falkner . I didn't know Candy crush is this "old". I only started to play last year. Sorry to read that it moved down one step from its Kingly post. Maybe they need to reconsider and listen to crushers ' laments..

Thank you for sharing this information. I agree that the recent retirements of CCS features that helped players earn boosters faster caused many players to get discouraged and turn to other games for entertainment and challenge. I hope @Crazy Cat Lad can view your source and share player feedback about most recent changes with the development team. Making it harder to win discourages playing more than it incentivizes purchases. I am curious about the performance metrics that have been given to the CCS product team. Keep sharing this type of information, Freddy.
