Timed levels

On May 2 2018, the final timed levels were removed, marking the end of an era. Timed levels are removed, yet they aren't talked as much as other aspects like Dreamworld.

If you had a chance to bring back timed levels, would you? If you can, state your reasons!

I've been playing here for many years, but I don't understand: what are time-controlled levels? I read that for the first time. You have to finish the levels normally no matter how long it takes.
