My vote was for Ellie the engineer. Mainly because as far as I know she'll be the first black Character in the game. With that in mind, the label of conducter has more of a historically predominantly male stereotype or imagery. Where as an engineer is less gendered. Obviously, this is just personal views and I think that young black children can, as frivolous as it may seem to some, seeing images that look like you as a child can expand the heights you dream of and can really have a huge subconscious impact on your self worth& possibilities. Maybe I'm goin too deep in the reasoning I used but I'm just being honest and that's something important to me. We need our.future generations to be better than us and it all starts with their foundations. So any help that they can get no matter how small or seemingly insignificant can end up being the difference between mediocrity and greatness.
