The Bot will reset if you lose a life or a level.
as long as you keep passing the levels it will progress and keep adding Boosters to your levels.
@goldenboytas Yes since the tweaks to build a bot this is how it now works. you lose one level and lose all your bot and have to build him up again.there are two more versions being trialed so who knows in the future
