I must say I preferred the green buttons for notifications alerts because the new red ones seem a little...unoriginal but since I spent the last half hour being driven insane by those alerts that won't disappear no matter how many times I opened those messages and cleared the cache of my laptop, I say I'm okay with them now.
The new "mark all read" feature did the trick. Bless it. Or not actually, if this was all about teaching me a lesson about its existence π€£
