Hi @georgeanno the lives appeared in your FB acc may not necessarily be synced to your phone due to timing difference when logging to your game with different devices. You can stop playing In FB and send fresh request to your friend for lives. So long as you are logged on FB whilst playing with mobile, all your progresses will be synced.

If you want 6 lives, win gold or diamond trophy in each episode, you will get extra 1 live on top.of the 5 lives in the next episode. If you runs out of lives in mobile switch playing in FB using different browser. Each browser will give you a fresh 5 lives when you play, hope this helps 💖💖🍭🍭

Try to use facebook candy crush page and make new active friends who can send u more and more lives.

This issue with only a few friends showing up is related to the Facebook issue here:
