Hi @Alice_Parent . Welcome to our adorable King Community.
Its a well known facebook issue already reported. King studios and facebook are already working to resolve it soon. But unfortunately we cant give any time frame for this. But we hope soon it will be resolved.

Currently there's issue with facebook connectivity that's preventing some fb players from seeing their photos/avatars and/or other facebook-connected players. It doesn't affect normal game functionality. So you don't need to try solving it yourself by logging out of your facebook profile or reinstalling the game, for example. As stated above facebook and king are looking into this but there's no time frame for the fix yet :)

@Alice_Parent Hi and welcome, The issue with the avatars not loading or continuously spinning. Is a Facebook issue that is affecting many people , me included. This is being looked into by both Facebook and king together and they are trying to resolve the issue but there is no time frame on the fix for this. You may also get some other issues from it like not seeing as many friends or receiving lives from them
