Candy Crush Will Not Open. Stuck on Ad for Upcoming Beach Days Event(or something like that)

it has been running fine forever but since last night when I go to open the game on my Ipad an ad for an upcoming Candy Crush event This Wednesday keeps playing over and over and over and I cannot get past it. Help!

@rajah61 Hi and welcome, see if you can log out or force close app check for game up date, restart your device and log back in and see if this solves your problem

If you are playing via an internet browser also clear the cache / history.

Do you see a play button on the Ad? If yes, just click on it and it will disappear because that's what I did not long ago. Hope it'll work the same for you.

We warmly welcome you to our adorable king community. As it was a new feature ad so may be a glitch in the begining just force close your game application and keep it updated i hope it will work fine. I now checked on my android device and working absolutely fine with cross button above the ad to close it. So hopefully it is settled down.
