All bonus features in the game are not permanent. Infact they are provided to a pool of players on test purposes. So there is no guarantee that it will always be available to you in the game. Sometimes they shuffle the pool so that might be the reason that it is not available to you. However it might be out due to some temporary issues. You should be hopeful that it might return to you any time.

Please Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
Daily calendar is in the Test Group so we cannot say for sure that you will always find this feature.
The Fun Event menu returns when the game is regular. Probably no event is currently active for you so the menu is not available.
