@chassabelle Hi and welcome, Please check your game is up to date and log out and restart your device. then log back in and see if this resolves you issue
The community does not deal with gold bars or purchases but please contact customer support from your game or the contact us at bottom of page and explain your issue and they should help you with this. You will need to keep an eye on the amount of gold bars you have lost.

Hello @chassabelle and good day to you.
Please log out from game, disconnect your device from the internet, wait for a while, reconnect your device to internet, and enter game. Check and see whether your gold bar appear.
If not, please restart your device and log back to the game again and i hope it will appear.
Also I hope that you didn't accidentally use it for additional moves at the end of a level that you've failed.

Please Clean cache files of your device log out from game and reboot the device and try to connect after some time.
Gold Bars Will be Added In your Game If Not Then Please Contact your in game support Area. as mentioned Above.
