If it's not worked, how about you tried to follow these troubleshooting steps of Crashing/Freezing issue/bug. (I hope haven't this happens! 😊)

If you want to try uninstall and install steps, you have your gold bars are saved/transfered but all of the boosters have lost and some events will be reset and gone.

Based on your description of your issue, I'm guessing that you didn't manage to complete the level when the timed bomb jelly explode itself when the time is up. Correct me if I'm wrong. If this is correct, restarting the game etc. will not help prevent the time bomb jelly from exploding... and I don't think it's a bug. May I know which level are you playing? 😅
