Help!
On both Candy Crush and Candy Crush Jelly Saga I have lost all connection to friends, the game doesn't remember my settings, Candy Crush has nothing in the "events" except the bonus spin. All my messages are gone. What happened? I am not on a mobile platform, it's a PC/Laptop.

Sometimes it’s also possible that you are unable to play these because you don’t have the latest version of the app or a stable Internet connection, or simply you’re not connected to the Kingdom or Facebook. You can also try opening the game, logging out of the Kingdom or Facebook, closing the game, then finally re-opening and connecting again. Some of these tricks may work for you.
If they don’t, it’s just a matter of time. You may not be amongst the selected group at the moment but soon you’ll be the lucky one to enjoy the new challenges as well as your friends!

@Cheryl_Lynn_Helm Hi and welcome.
If your playing via facebook .firstly clear the cache and also check your operating system and internet browser are up to date then restart your device. this should solve some of your problems
If playing via windows 10 app you can just do an uninstall as all your game data is saved to kings servers and you will not lose anything.

None of this seems to make any sense in my situation. I am not using an app I can update, I am using a Facebook portal. How can I update that? My Win10 build is the latest and auto updates. Same with my browser (chrome). What else should I check? It is a new laptop, but both games were working fine. Do I need to have the app as well as the Facebook link?

@Cheryl_Lynn_Helm Hi, If none of the troubleshooting helped above and everything is up to date i am a bit stumper why your game is not holding your settings. Lives can be lost through updates and crashes but would expect you to have more that just one feature.
In my opinion it would probably be best to download the app from the Microsoft store as this for me has worked better than the facebook version, but that is your personnel choice.
