@Deborah_Parfitt Hi and welcome, To stop the emails. go yo yuor avatar top right of screen and click on this and edit profile. then go to notification preferences and uncheck or the emails you do not want to receive and then click save. this will stop all the emails.

If you still want to close your account send a Private message to @Crazy Cat Lad and he will do this for you as the only person who can delete your account is a Community Manager

Hi dear and welcome to the community.

As mentioned above you can easily manage your emails and notifications by just clicking on your avatar and edit your notifications /preferences.
