Anyone else think the Knockout game is rigged?

Hi,

I loved the idea on the Knockout game.

Based on observed game scoring, it seemed clear that the two "players" were not starting with the same seed. I thought, wow, if the players could start from the same seed, that would be really good.

Then I realized that the whole knockout game was an illusion. There are no other players! Bummer!!

There are several clues:

1) every time I start playing a game the other player instantly makes a move. Every time - instantly. I am not the fastest player - but I believe every once and a while, at least someone else out there would take a second to think about their move,

2) the rate of play of the other player always matches my rate. I have never once had to wait for another player to finish. If I play super slow, the other plyer plays super slow. If I play insanely fast, the other player will still be finished before me (I never have to wait).

Hopefully, CC is working on a real knockout game where the players would start with the same seed. That would be super good.

The rate of play of different players is a bit of a problem. If one player is very slow the other could be waiting for several minutes for the other to finish. Hmm, bit of a problem. Basically, a time limit would be required for each game, and super fast players may need to wait a bit. But it would be worth it.

Wow!! I don't have this feature either, nor have I ever heard of it 🤔, it's the first time I've seen it, but it sounds very exciting, I'd love to see it.

Not everyone has the knockout "feature"? Really?

On both iPAD and Android I have four major "tabs" at the bottom: MAP, EVENTS, KNOCKOUT and SHOP.

I was very excited at first. But not so much when I realized what was going on.

I think the Knockout concept is such a good idea - it's a potential game changer.

But it has to be done right:

real people - which means having to deal with the slow play "problem" (actually I am not the fastest player so easy there)
it's likely you can have identical initial conditions for two players without having to reveal the seeds in general - that just makes it so much better

You could do so much with that.

Personally I have spent very little on Candy Crush over the years. Feel a bit guilty after over 6000 gams and lots on enjoyment (although the games are getting stupid hard) But I can see a premium concept like this worth paying for. Not a lot mind you. But millions of people paying a few dollars a month would surely add up.

It's definitely rigged to stop you from winning so many prizes. I've already won several of everything but I rarely get past 2 wins now as I'm in the high tier so I stopped playing it

Lots of new events and features are currently available in the game and each belongs to the test group. We're glad you got the Knockout event, but I'm not sure if it's part of the Mighty Matchup event.
