I am getting the message:
There was a connection error. Try again in a bit.
I can not login...my game is still at the level I was at but I have no connection. The pictures are all blank, nothing is updating.
Is anyone else having this issue and how can I fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it will work until I close out and then does the same thing again. I am getting very frustrated with the constant issues that have been happening with this game (connection issues, point reductions, impossible levels, etc.) Why does the King Team feel the need to do consistently change things that only make more issues???
FYI - I am using the Windows 10 app on my laptop
This is often caused by a bad internet connection, and is under investigation. It is advisable to check app update> sign out game> restart device and wait 5 minutes after power on> open game and sign in. If you are using a browser, clear the cache. More information can be found below:
These problems are usually caused by Facebook security i.e. if you change your Facebook password even though you are logged in to the game, you will face such problems.
You need to try the uninstall and Re-install process again, I hope you do not face the same problem again.

It´s an obligation to connect to Facebook? I was playing with my email account. Now I´m receiving the message: There was a connection error. Try again in a bit.
@paulocm Hi and welcome, You can sync a facebook account with a King account so they are linked
The connection error, try again in a bit. have you changed password recently ?
Try disconnecting your wifi while in the game for 30 seconds and then reconnect. if not the only option for this error is to uninstall at present but you will LOSE any stored BOOSTERS and LIVES if this is a mobile device

Hello 👋 Welcome to the sweet King community. I'm sorry you're having this problem, it's been under investigation for a long time. We do not advise reinstalling the game, as in addition to losing boosters and accumulated lives, reinstalling does not guarantee that the connection problem will be fixed. It has happened to other players, they did and the problem continued after reinstallation. It's your choice. Some players fixed it by simply turning off the device's internet connection for a few minutes with the game open, turning the internet connection back on everything worked fine. I'm not talking about turning off the router, just the connection on the device. Hope you can fix it.

Ah! and no, it is not mandatory to have a Facebook account, nor is it mandatory to sync King with Facebook 😉
