Candy crush will not connect to my Facebook account

i have been playing candy crush for a few years and was last playing level 5123.

my candy crush has not been connecting to the App Store or Facebook for a number of weeks so I have not able to access the shop or any benefits . It also will not connect to my Facebook account.

I have spoken with Apple and they have said it is not an apple issue but the problem lies with the app. They suggested deleting the app and reinstalling it, unfortunately when i reloaded the app it wouldn’t pick up my account and I had to start back at level 1, I am hoping this can be fixed as I don’t want to start again.

when trying to connect to the App Store it just shows a spinning circle.

Unfortunately reinstalling the game does not solve these types of problems, so we only advise uninstalling the game when it is corrupted and there is no other solution, since doing so eliminates accumulated lives and power-ups. Hello, I am in level 1984 (like the book...) and my profile picture and all connexions to "friends, team" disappeared. Also the shop is no more accessible, I have no facebook account and play with my computer since the beginning, it was on the computer when we bought it.

Do you know if this can happen temporarly or if I am "erased" by king because I have no facebook account ?

Please try the standard troubleshooting tips

Check your device and game are up to date, clear the cache from your app store or browser. Log out and restart your device. Then log back in and see if this resolves your issue

Ha, and it's written if I ask help for lives : failure to connect to facebook, while I don't play via facebook but maybe the game uses it ?

@aurechaz Hi and welcome, You should still get lives if you have friends added by your king account, but facebook friends would get you access to a bigger group of friends. You can add friends in king.com/games by email address. just log into the king.com/games site and go to notifications and you will see add friends by email

I don't manage to do it : do I have to uninstall candycrush from the computer to do it ???
