I need to update the app but

Even though I have automatic updates does not happen. I then notice that the apple id is my daughter's that she installed about 6 years ago on her ipad - this ipad is newist and its definitely under me. How can I change the id on candy crush - the ipad, phone, etc are all under me, Its very strange. I don't want to start from the beginning.
