@Rebecca_Culver Hi and welcome, Please check your device and game are up to date and clear the cache from your app store or browser log out and restart your device and then log back in and see if this resolves your issue
If not try while in the game disconnecting your wifi for 30 seconds and then reconnect , also if a mobile device try switching between wifi and mobile data to see if that helps

What device are you trying to do this on (PC or mobile)?
@Rebecca_Culver Hi and welcome, This is the new candy connections feature and at present there is not a lot of information on this. We do know there is a facebook issue we believe that is causing the feature not to work correctly, but do not know if the connection issue has something to do with this or not. All i can say is until the issue is fixed the feature may not work correctly
