Why was milestone rewards changed from lollie hammer to getting lives?

@Freddy_ and @hechicerilla The screenshot below shows you what a milestone is. It is the big pink star thing. They appear now again when you finish an Episode Race. The milestone in the picture is for finishing level 920

No worries @hechicerilla, I would guess that you and @Freddy_ haven't seen one of these in a long while. I am not sure, but I think I have read somewhere that the milestones only occur every 1000 levels after the first 1000.
To be honest I thought the change from a lollipop to receiving lives was for the same reason that you get more Gold dependant on how many Episode Races you have won. That is, the more you advance through the levels the greater the reward. I suppose @kiara_wael must be right though.
