Why can't I log into my account in Chrome?

From yesterday, I have been unable to log into my account in Chrome. It isn't clear to my why or how I was logged out, but when I try to log in, the background screen is ombre dark, and after entering my username and password, I click the log in tab and nothing whatever happens. I have cleared my cache. Can anyone help please? Thank you

Seen someone else report the same thing, but checking my games on web all seems ok.
are you playing via king.com or facebook, can you let us know this and whichever one you are playing can you try the other and let us know if you get the same thing

I'm playing directly in King.com, not via facebook. The log in button is completely unresponsive. I can log in using both Firefox and Edge, but in Chrome I can click on the green login button and nothing whatever happens. The earlier thread is a bit out of date. My PC is less than a year old and I'm using windows 10
