I've got my old ipad now to use and its loaded onto that OK, so no idea why it won't work on my other ipad

In some cases the game app can be corrupted suddenly and in that case we face various problems. If you've already followed the troubleshooting steps above but you still haven't found a solution then I would suggest you to uninstall the game app and then reinstall it.
I hope this solves your problem but please remember if you uninstall the game app you will lose all the stored boosters.

Evening, I'm having exactly the same issue, seems to be after the latest update. Anyone have a solution, I have tried all the usual " turn off and on again" solutions. Would rather not delete and reload game if same issue persists. Thanks

Correct - I have the same and mine is version .210 when I reload older versions then it works for a day or 2 until my tablet updates to latest version😞
King needs to sort this out. Latest version updates need debugging as none are working. I play 4 and 2 wks ago I started to loose them one after another. Its been 2 wks now since I played any of the games without having to download the older versions every 2 days, I'm fedup never had any issues with any of the games from the beginning over 5 yrs now.
Candy crush still isn't running . THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO REALLY BE SORTED OUT ASAP .
I'm gutted its still like it surely someone at king has the knowledge to repair it
