Empty marmalade that acts so strange!

I saw empty marmalade on level 1871. Special candies can destroy it right? Nope, tried using striped and wrapped but only items that are incased in marmalade get destroyed, not marmalade that incases nothing

To be honest @Ryanthecrusher they don't look empty, they look like they have a blue candy inside them. It is really odd though that the marmalade wasn't removed by the wrapped candy.

I agree, but when i actually removed it, candies slide into the empty spot, no blue candies....

I just replayed it several times, you are right very strange most of the marmalade just takes one strike to break but there is always two that take three strikes to break and they are not in the same place each time also those look blue underneath but they aren't as @Ryanthecrusher said (I tried exploding blue with color bomb and did nothing) and there is no indicator telling you where the three strike ones are! very strange indeed!
Even more strange, I went back to play one more time and without a move the whole board turned into striped candies and it beat itself WTF ?????
