Hey there, have you got the latest version (1.2120.1.0 on PC/1.212.0.1 on mobile) of the game?
Assuming it is saved, log out of it & close the programme for a minute or so (even turn off your device and restart it); then open it & log back in; also try clearing the cache (not the data) to see if it will help.
Those are the standard things to do when encountering this sort of thing, so try 'em & see what happens...

You may encounter this problem if the game is disconnected from the server, but you can try to solve it by following the troubleshooting steps below.
Check app update - Log out game - Restart device - Open game and Log in.
