My game keeps shutting down after I make about 4 or 5 moves.. and most of the “events” are gone.. there’s just 3 left. I’ve shut my phone off but that didn’t help.. I am Leary about deleting the app and reinstalling cause it says my data will be lost. I’m up in the 6,000 levels snd I have almost 600 free men and several boosters snd coins that I’ve actually won or paid for .. what should I do!

I’ve logged in and out multiple times but it doesn’t help. Shut my phone off, that didn’t help.

Hello @jamiejill just thought I would check something with you. What you have written above will not help you, as you have to complete the restart in the correct order for it work the way it is supposed to.

The correct order is sign out of your game, restart your device, and then sign back into your game. This order is important as restarting whilst signed out is part of what resets your game. You will know that this has worked as after restarting your game all of your events will have disappeared when you sign back in. All you need to do then is play a few new, or old levels and your features will return to your game.

Can you please confirm that you have signed out in this manner?

Also have you tried clearing the apps cache? If you haven't then try clearing the cache and restarting your phone.

Hi Jamiejill, please ignore my advice about clearing your app cache. I have searched on Google and I have found out that you can't clear the cache of an app on an iPhone. All you can do is clear the history of the Safari browser, which I guess you have already done.

In case you haven't done that here is how you do it. Make sure you know your passwords before doing this as it will log you out of your favourite Web sites.

Open the Settings app and select Safari.

Tap clear history and website data.

Accept the pop up that asks if you really want to delete your history.

    Restart your device.

That isn't quite the same thing as clearing the cache of an individual app though, and that is why you have been advised to delete the app. Deleting an app is the only way to clear the cache of an individual app on an iPhone.

You could try downloading a third party app such as PhoneClean by iMobie that will allow you to clear the cache of an app without deleting it.

One very last 'nuclear' option if nothing else seems to work is to try resetting your phone to its factory condition. This option isn't really recommended as a lot can go wrong if you don't know what you are doing.
