No bonus bars with purchase for MONTHS

I started playing a few months ago & when I buy a package of bars or boosters I get what I purchased then the striped bag appears & shows 1 or 2 or 3 bonus bars but those bars NEVER appear in my total number of bars. Only the number of bars in the package I purchased shows up. I’m playing on iPad & am always updated as far as the app & iOS. I am logged into my account. So, what gives? Where are these bonus bars. At the end of an episode I get that striped bag with a few bonus bars & those are added to my total every time so it’s just the bonus with purchase that I’m not getting. It’s annoying that I have to see how many bars I’m not getting.

Hi there, what you are describing actually sounds accurate! At the end of an episode you will receive 1 or 2 bonus bars for making a purchase, that is how it works!

I contacted support & they explained it to me. When you make a purchase the bonus bars go into the striped bag & at the end of the episode when a striped bag appears & you ‘claim’ them, the bars are the same bonus bars that were added. I didn’t make that connection. You get milestone bonuses that are not related to purchase bonuses so I thought the end of episode bag with bars was just another rando gift. Soooo I’m not missing anything at all. They could explain that a lil better though. There are so many features that you have to figure out on your own when using a word or two would explain. Anyway all is well.
