It is an unfortunate thing that moves levels were made extinct from the game. Before, moves levels made appearances of a variable frequency often with long droughts and sporadic bursts of appearances. Some moves levels were indeed quite challenging and forces one to strategically use special candies to deal with candy bombs and potential blockers.
I am infuriated that moves levels were made extinct without reasonable explanation. It is known timed levels were made extinct due to negative reception? Where are the negative reception regarding moves levels?
@__MULLIGANACEOUS__ unless I am mistaken your idea seems to be that you are asking for an explanation as to why moves levels were removed from the game. If that is the case then whilst it would improve your understanding it wouldn't improve the game of Candy Crush, which is what this area is for.
Hello @__MULLIGANACEOUS__ I understand you would like to bring back the moves levels - where you had to make a certain score and then use the rest of your moves to complete the level.
I actually had to google move levels because I had forgotten about them - it was so long ago.
When writing ideas - it is best to keep it simple so other players understand. I would just say - Bring Back Moves levels and then in the narrative - just a short explanation for what they were. There are probably quite a few players that have never even seen those levels since they were changed before they started playing.
Just an additional tip - Ideas are suggestions on how to improve the game. Not questions about why something changed in the game. You won’t get answers by asking questions as an idea.
If you think bringing back move levels would improve the game, then state it that way and explain why you think it would improve the game. Asking questions about why it was removed belongs more in the discussion area and not as an idea.
It is perfectly fine to suggest some feature be returned and explain why. However I will say from experience I have never seen the studio reinstate a feature that was already removed from the game.
The studio has been working hard over the last two years to refresh Candy Crush, not only by updating the graphics but also creating new boosters and blockers and introducing new fun events. So I doubt they would be interested in bringing back an older feature they already removed. But I will let the CM (@Crazy Cat Lad ) determine if this idea should remain open.
